Dirty Bird Industries Hits the NASCAR Track at the 2026 Blue Cross NC 300
Dirty Bird Industries

Dirty Bird Industries is going racing. On Sunday, October 11, the No. 91 Chevrolet rolls onto Charlotte Motor Speedway with our name on it as primary sponsor, with Charlotte native Myatt Snider driving for DGM Racing in the 2026 Blue Cross NC 300. The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race goes green at 8:00 PM Eastern in Concord, North Carolina, in the middle of the series championship run. For a company that started in a Bakersfield garage eleven years ago, it is a long way to have come.

Behind the Dirty Bird name on the No. 91 is a partnership between two family businesses and a co-founder who has followed NASCAR his whole life. Few places suit that story better than Charlotte, home to much of the NASCAR industry, on a weekend when a championship is being decided. Add a hometown driver racing in front of his home crowd, and the No. 91 has plenty of reasons to draw attention on Saturday.

A Shared Passion for Racing, Performance, and American Business

Motorsports has long been a passion for Dirty Bird Industries co-founder Jay Pitcher, and this weekend means a great deal to him personally. “I’ve been a NASCAR fan my entire life, so getting the chance to support Myatt and see Dirty Bird USA on the No. 91 at Charlotte is pretty special,” Pitcher said when DGM Racing announced the partnership. Dirty Bird USA, the name of our online store, is also how the car appears on the official NASCAR entry list. For a lifelong fan, watching the company he helped build take the green flag at Charlotte is about as good as a sponsorship gets.

DGM Racing, the team fielding the No. 91, is a family-owned operation based in Lake Wales, Florida, and led by Mario and Michelle Gosselin. The team began in the early 1990s as Mario’s weekend hobby, and the letters in its name stand for Damien, Germain and Mario, a nod to the father and brother who helped him start racing. The Gosselins have since built it into a multi-car O’Reilly Auto Parts Series operation known for doing more with less.

That shared family history is what makes the partnership fit. Dirty Bird Industries is still run by the two brothers who founded it, and both companies have learned to compete against much larger operations by outworking them, which is exactly what a Chase weekend at Charlotte asks of an underdog race team. We are proud to back Myatt Snider and the entire DGM Racing crew, and we will be pulling for the No. 91 on every lap.

Dirty Bird Industries Takes on Charlotte Motor Speedway

The Blue Cross NC 300 runs 200 laps on Charlotte Motor Speedway’s 1.5-mile oval, a 300-mile race scheduled to start at 8:00 PM Eastern Time. It is the fifth of nine races in The Chase, the championship format NASCAR brought back for 2026, in which the top 12 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series drivers race for the title on points with no eliminations along the way. Every finishing position matters in that format, and Sheldon Creed arrives in Charlotte with a 19-point lead over Carson Kvapil in the standings. The race also marks the return of Charlotte’s fall weekend to the oval after eight seasons on the ROVAL road course.

Sunday’s race is the centerpiece of a three-day NASCAR weekend at the speedway, which opens with the Craftsman Truck Series EcoSave 200 on Friday and closes with the Cup Series Bank of America 400 on Sunday. Charlotte Motor Speedway is one of the most recognizable venues in American racing, and a Chase weekend there draws fans from across the country. The CW carries Saturday’s race to a national television audience, giving the Dirty Bird Industries car a stage far larger than the grandstands.

Meet the Dirty Bird Industries No. 91 Chevrolet

Myatt Snider, a UNC Charlotte graduate, returns to DGM Racing to drive the Dirty Bird Industries No. 91 Chevrolet in his home race, with veteran crew chief Steve Addington calling the shots from the pit box. Snider earned his first NASCAR national series win at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2021, taking the Contender Boats 250 in an overtime finish. He has more than 150 combined starts across the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and the Craftsman Truck Series. His seven O’Reilly starts with DGM Racing began with a top-10 finish at Martinsville in 2024, and Saturday will be his first start at Charlotte Motor Speedway since that same season.

From Bakersfield to the National NASCAR Stage

Dirty Bird Industries began in 2015 in a Bakersfield, California garage, founded by brothers Jay and Dustin Pitcher. Jay got his start Cerakoting parts at Dustin’s request, while Dustin brought experience from the online retail side of the firearms business, and together they set out to build quality AR-15 parts without the name-brand markup. The company had just two employees in 2018. Today more than 50 people work across our Bakersfield retail store and our East Coast headquarters in Youngsville, North Carolina, serving firearm owners and builders nationwide.

Sponsoring a NASCAR race car is a new chapter in that story. Few places gather more fans who value performance and American-made products in a single weekend than Charlotte during The Chase. The No. 91 Chevrolet now carries the Dirty Bird Industries name from Bakersfield onto one of the biggest stages in American motorsports.

Expanding Dirty Bird Industries Through National Advertising

NASCAR gives Dirty Bird Industries a national audience that our usual advertising does not reach. A Chase race broadcast on The CW, followed by highlights and race coverage online, introduces the Dirty Bird name to viewers who may never have shopped for an AR-15 part. We already ship to customers across the country, and a sponsorship like this helps more of them find us. The plan is to keep building Dirty Bird Industries into a brand people recognize coast to coast while staying the family-owned company that got us here.
