Dirty Bird Zero Risk Guarantee – Shipping Made Simple
Shipping Made Simple. Qualifying orders ship free — eligibility is based on order value, weight, package dimensions, and item type. Mixed carts containing ineligible items may default to standard shipping. Free shipping does not include hazmat fees or other processing-related fees. Orders over $300 require a signature on delivery unless you opt out.
- FFL-Regulated Items: Firearms and other FFL-regulated products ship directly to your receiving dealer. Delivery estimates reflect the shipment date, not the completion of your transfer.
Free Package Protection (Up to $5,000)
Every qualifying order is protected up to $5,000 against loss, theft, or damage in transit. This is a Dirty Bird program benefit, not third-party insurance. If something happens, Dirty Bird will determine — at its discretion — whether your claim is resolved by replacement or refund.
Expedited Processing for Faster Handling
Eligible in-stock orders placed before 12 p.m. Eastern on business days receive priority processing and are typically shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 12 p.m. Eastern, or on weekends and holidays, are processed the next business day. Priority processing speeds up handling time only — it does not change transit or shipping speed. Oversized items, carrier limitations, and holidays may affect timing.
Claims
In the rare event your order is lost in transit, we make it easy to file an Order Loss Claim. Please note: claims can’t be filed or processed until the carrier’s tracking shows at least one scan. If tracking shows no activity yet, check our Shipping Policy for expected tracking delays before submitting a claim. To submit an Order Loss Claim, [link pending]. Our team reviews every claim individually and will follow up with you directly on next steps.
You can file a claim if:
- Tracking has been stuck in “Label Created” status for more than 5 business days.
- The package shows in-transit with no movement for more than 3 business days.
- The package shows delivered but hasn’t arrived.
- The package arrived with incorrect, missing, or damaged contents.
Lifetime Eligible Returns
Lifetime Eligible Returns — No Restocking Fee. Changed your mind? Eligible items may be returned at any time. Returns within 45 days of shipment are refunded to your original payment method; returns after 45 days are issued as store credit via a Dirty Bird Gift Card. For non-regulated items, we don’t deduct return shipping — no restocking fee, period. FFL and NFA items are handled separately and may include return shipping and restocking fees. Start an eligible return anytime through your account (Self-Service Return). Approved returns of regulated items are subject to our Refund/Return Policy.
Exclusions: ammunition, primers, powder, NFA items, gift cards, open-box, used, blemished (“Blem”) items, and reloading components. Additional restrictions may apply.
