The race weekend is in the books, and seeing the Dirty Bird Guns & Ammo No. 91 Chevrolet at Charlotte Motor Speedway is something we won’t forget. Myatt Snider and DGM Racing brought the Dirty Bird name to the NASCAR stage for the Blue Cross NC 300, giving our team and fans a whole new reason to cheer.
For a family-owned company that started in a Bakersfield garage, watching our colors roll onto the track was a proud moment. We’re grateful to everyone who followed along and supported the No. 91.
How the Race Played Out
The No. 91 showed top-10 speed for most of the race. Myatt Snider and the DGM Racing crew worked on the car at every pit stop, fine-tuning the handling to hold speed over longer runs. The plan was simple: keep moving forward through the field and hang on to every position gained.
With about 80 laps to go, the team had the car dialed in exactly where Myatt wanted it. He climbed to 14th, running 10 spots higher than DGM Racing’s average running position.
While pushing for more, the car got sideways and hit the wall, which caused a tire failure and ended a strong run. “The incident wasn’t a team or driver issue,” Snider said. “We pushed the car to its limits to stay competitive and, unfortunately, found that limit.”
The No. 91 also earned plenty of airtime. The Dirty Bird colors were on screen throughout the broadcast, including a replay in the final 80 laps of Myatt moving another car out of the way in a battle for position.
The finish doesn’t tell the whole story. The No. 91 had real speed, gained ground all race, and put Dirty Bird Guns & Ammo in front of a big TV audience.
