Description

Upgrade your AR-15 with the Guntec AR-15 Ambi Charging Handle Latch, a precision-engineered replacement designed to deliver reliable ambidextrous operation on any Mil-Spec charging handle. This compact upgrade transforms standard charging handle performance, providing left- and right-handed shooters with faster, more positive engagement during reloads, malfunctions, or one-handed manipulations.

Key Features

  • Ambidextrous Design – Extended latch surfaces on both sides for seamless access from either hand, ideal for left-handed operators or dynamic shooting positions.
  • T6 6061 Aluminum Construction – Lightweight yet durable material machined for a secure fit and long-term reliability under rigorous use.
  • Enhanced Grip Surface – Larger, more aggressive profile than stock latches improves control with gloves, wet hands, or in low-light conditions.
  • Mil-Spec Compatibility – Direct replacement for standard AR-15 charging handle latches; simple installation with a 1/16-inch roll pin punch.
  • Anodized Black Finish – Corrosion-resistant coating that maintains a low-profile tactical appearance.

Benefits for Shooters

Standard charging handles can be difficult to operate quickly under stress or with accessories. The Guntec ambi latch solves these pain points by expanding the engagement area and enabling true ambidextrous function without replacing the entire charging handle. Whether running drills, competing, or maintaining a duty rifle, users experience smoother operation and reduced risk of binding during one-handed pulls.
