Description
The Dirty Bird Industries AR-15 Cerro Forged Stripped Upper Receiver is precision machined to M16/M4 Mil-Spec using top quality Cerro Forgings. They are then finished with a uniform Mil-Spec Type III hardcoat anodizing. These units are quality checked throughout the process to ensure consistent quality from unit to unit.
Builders know that not all mil-spec forged upper receivers are created equal. Sub-par forgings suffer from pitting and structural defects, poor anodizing can result in a purplish or chalky finish that doesn’t last and sloppy matching can result in mis-sized lugs, burrs or other machine marks.
You have Dirty Bird’s word that these uppers will be free from excessive pitting, machined to spec and finished with quality (not purple or chalky) hard coat anodizing.
Features:
- 7075-T6 Aluminum Cerro Forgings
- .250 takedown pin holes
- Port Door (Dust Cover) and Forward Assist not included
These receivers will not come with M4 Feedramps.

Dirty Bird Industries — Premium AR-15 and AR-10 Components, Built to Last.
Designed for builders who demand uncompromising quality, reliable performance, and accessible pricing without the premium markups common from larger brands.
Founded by Builders, Built to Last
Founded in 2015 by brothers Jay and Dustin Pitcher in a Bakersfield, California garage, Dirty Bird Industries started as a family-owned operation specializing in custom Cerakote finishes and high-quality AR parts. Building on experience from its sister site, AR15Discounts.com, Dirty Bird Industries has grown into a nationwide company with a dedicated team focused on American-made gear that shooters trust.
American-Made Quality and Precision
Through strategic partnerships with leading domestic manufacturers, Dirty Bird Industries sources and develops components using advanced CNC machining, rigorous testing, and mil-spec standards. By managing larger volumes, the company delivers proven, high-end materials and precision engineering at fair prices that meet the high standards set for its own builds.
Proven Components for Serious Builds
Standout offerings include precision-forged 7075-T6 upper and lower receivers, enhanced black nitride bolt carrier groups, single-stage nickel Teflon triggers, free-float M-LOK handguards, complete upper assemblies, and comprehensive lower parts kits. These products create a cohesive selection for everything from custom builds to high-performance rifles nationwide, supported by batch inspections, mil-spec compliance, and ongoing innovations.
Zero Risk Guarantee Program
For total confidence, Dirty Bird Industries backs eligible parts and accessories with its Zero Risk Guarantee Program. This includes free shipping on orders over $50, package protection up to $5,000, lifetime free returns with full refunds within 45 days or store credit after, and expert support. As passionate shooters, the team at Dirty Bird Industries stands behind every product because the company builds, tests, and uses them too, providing authentic value and dependable gear.
