One of the most useful upgrades for your AR-15 is changing the standard handguard to a free float design that offers better accuracy, more accessory attachment points, and a lighter weight. The UTG PRO Ultra Slim free float handguard from Leapers ticks all of those boxes and more. It is precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and features an ultra slim design with lightening cuts made throughout the handguard to reduce weight without sacrificing strength. The top rail has been removed except for the very front and rear positions to allow the mounting of optics and back up iron sights. It has an ergonomically shaped octagonal profile with grooved and surface and grip serrations for enhanced weapon manipulation. It fits over most low-profile gas blocks and has a 15” overall length to give you a long sight radius and allow you to grip further out along the handguard for more stability.
