As with all bullpup rifles, the action is located behind the trigger, allowing for a full length barrel without adding any significant overall length. The AUG A3 M1 has a length of just 28.15 inches with a heavy barrel of 16 inches. It utilizes a short-stroke gas piston operation, allowing the rifle to run cleanly by venting out gas from the front of the rifle and a dual adjustment setting ensures flawless operation even with poor quality ammunition and in adverse conditions.
