We start with top-grade, domestically sourced 4150 CrMoV Steel, drilled, reamed, button rifled, profiled, and chambered by SAAMI Specifications. These barrels undergo a battery of quality assurance checks at each step, ensuring a remarkably consistent product every time. They are finished with one of the most affable QPQ Nitride treatments on an AR-Barrel. The stainless steel barrel extensions are machined in the same facility, further ensuring high quality and consistency from start to finish. The result is a barrel with deadly accuracy and rock-solid reliability.

Here at Dirty Bird Industries, we work with various machine shops and barrel manufacturers. When we come across a barrel maker we like, we often decide to private label those barrels for resale under the NBS brand. We purchase these barrels in large quantities and then pass the savings on to our customers.
