Nothing can test a shotgun like Military and Law Enforcement use and the 590 tactical has been tested by both for decades and is still in use by many agencies. It is able to withstand years of heavy use while still remaining reliable because of the many features Mossberg packs into it. It has dual extractors that help to extract empty shells from the 3-inch chamber without getting stuck and reliably eject them from the gun so you can insert another shotshell. It also features twin action bars on the pump action to provide a smooth operation that won’t bind when loading a new shell into the chamber. The anti-jam elevator helps when lifting new rounds from the magazine tube up into the chamber. All of these features make for a faster rate of fire with reduced risk of creating a malfunction. With decades of service use on its back, the 590 Tactical is a perfect choice for home defense and personal protection.
