This Marlin 1895 45-70 lever action rifle also has a top Picatinny-style rail that provides a stable mounting surface for scope rings and a variety of modern optics. The Nickel-plated bolt with spiral flutes adds a distinctive, classy look and a smoother action, and the threaded barrel, with a match-polished, factory-installed thread protector, has an 11/16″ -24 thread pattern to accommodate a muzzle brake and other barrel accessories.
