The M1 Carbine is an American classic and Inland Manufacturing is building yet once again. The 1944 M1 Carbine w/ type 2 barrel band and 10 round magazine is now available and is 100% American made and manufactured. This rifle is a faithful copy of the original M1 carbines manufactured by Inland Manufacturing. These carbines are in fact so exact replicas that there is a marking on the inside of the stock to prevent people from trying to pass off these carbines as original WWII versions. The carbine chambers .30 carbine and has an 18″ barrel w/ a 1 x 20″ twist rate.

Newly manufactured by Inland Manufacturing, LLC. The newest incarnation of Inland LLC was founded in 2013 with a commitment to provide the highest quality firearm-related products for the practical shooting enthusiast.
The Inland Manufacturing team has over 100 years of combined firearm related experience and applied knowledge in firearm design, manufacturing as well as experience in military, law enforcement, and competitive shooting sports.
These newly manufactured M1 Carbines are 100% American-made with 100% American parts.
These are faithful copies of the original Inland Manufacturing carbines, right down to part construction and stampings. They even include the arsenal-stamped stock markings known as cartouches!
These carbines are so precisely copied from the original specifications that the company marks the underside of the barrel and the inside of the stock to prevent potential fraudsters from passing these new carbines as mint WWII originals. These markings also prevent potential fraudsters from using these new-production parts to “upgrade” original models (these markings are not visible unless the action is removed from the stock).
This is the M-1 1944 model. – The M1 1944 carbines feature many of the same characteristics of the original Inland Carbines and are manufactured in the USA!
However
The 1944 M1 carbine has the same features as the 1945 M1 carbine but with a Type 2 barrel band and 10-round magazine. This model is made available for sale in most states with magazine and bayonet lug restrictions.
Like the 1945 model, the 1944 features adjustable rear sights, push button safety, round bolt, and “low wood” walnut stock.
The M1 Carbine is a great firearm. It has cool, classic looks, is fun to shoot and packs a low-recoil even as the 110-grain .30 caliber bullet is pushed at nearly 2,000 FPS.
About the manufacturer
In 1941, with the US being pulled into one of the greatest conflicts in world history, a division of General Motors was tasked to support the war effort.
The result was firearm history with Inland Manufacturing becoming one of the largest gun manufacturers in the US, producing nearly 3 million firearms in less than 5 years.
The most notable of Inland’s firearm production was the .30 Caliber M1 carbine and the folding stock variant, the M1A1 Paratrooper model.
Dayton, Ohio was home for the original Inland company, and is now the home of the new Inland Manufacturing located just two miles from the original facility.
