To provide optimal shooter comfort, the XCEL’s stock is upgraded with a newly designed forend utilizing ergonomic checkering, sleek lines, and a shooting cap that can accept aftermarket weights. The receiver is also redesigned and features an enhanced top and bottom profile as well as a protective laser-engraved Aquatech Shield grey coating. Other features of the A400 XCEL Sporting include a new competition top rib to promote fast target acquisition and engagement, and enlarged controls such as the bolt handle, bolt release, and loading port are easy to manipulate in poor conditions or when wearing gloves.
