60 round quad stack magazines are getting harder and harder to find but German manufacturer Schmeisser is looking to change that with the release of their new S60. The Schmeisser S60 quad stack AR-15 magazine is being imported exclusively through American Tactical to bring you double the capacity without the bulk and weight of a drum. The Schmeisser 60 round magazine comes in at about the same length as a 40 rounder and double the thickness, so it won’t feel unwieldy when loaded in your rifle or carbine. It features a unique patent pending follower and spring system that keeps rounds from getting twisted and reliably feeds into the chamber. It is made from impact resistant glass reinforced polymer to withstand heavy use. The Gen 2 model features a steel reinforced back lip to prevent cracking.

Warning: The S60 uses a very powerful high tension follower spring. Use caution if disassembling for maintenance. If not properly secured, spring may eject from magazine when floor plate is removed and can cause serious injury.
