Unlike many other manufacturers who simply cut holes and slots in their extrusion, these are machined on every surface of the exterior to ensure a uniform and flat surface. These 4140 steel barrel nuts do not need to be indexed for gas tube clearance, and installs with a standard castle nut wrench.
