This Aero Precision AR-15 / M4 Carbine Receiver Extension / Buffer Assembly is one of our most popular buffer kits. This kit uses a true mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum receiver extension (buffer tube) with drain hole and 6 positions of adjustment. The receiver extension is also type 3 hard anodized for a durable finish and has dry film lube applied to the inside diameter of the tube. The kit also includes a chome silicon buffer spring for longer service life. The three ounce carbine buffer is weighted with three separate counter weights (the separate, sliding counter weights are what prevent bolt-bounce). It also includes a mil-spec end plate and lock / castle nut.
