Introducing the 18″ Aero Precision 6.5 Creedmore Barrel for the AR-10 platform. Precision manufactured using 416R Stainless Steel and bead blasted these barrels have been proof fired and MPI tested.

The 6.5 Creedmore came about from a conversation between Hornady engineer Dave Emary and High Power National Champion Dennis DeMille were thinking about the 6mm wildcat cartridges that were popular in those types of shooting competitions. From that conversation, Dave and another Hornady engineer designed the 6.5 Creedmoor. It proved to be an improvement over the 6mm primarily due to the fact that with the higher BC bullet, high power shooters did not need to run such high pressures to get the performance they were looking for.

A natural match for the AR-10 platform, the 6.5 Creedmore requires only a simple barrel swap and uses the same parts, including bolt and magazine as a typical .308 build.
