This 6mm ARC barrel is an offering from Ballistic Advantage and is a product from their Premium Black Series of tactical gun parts.  It is a 20-inch long barrel made to accept the 6mm ARC rounds from a specialty build chambered in this caliber.  The barrel supports a rifle-length gas system that has proven to be the best length system in a barrel this length, allowing for the dwell to be minimized as well as providing a softer feeling recoil.  In addition to this the longer barrel with the rifle-length system will provide the user greater projectile velocity, an advantage in certain applications.  This barrel is machined by Ballistics Advantage from 416 stainless steel.

The “DMR” profile stands for “designated marksman rifle”. This moniker is descriptive of the type of shooting that this barrel is best for. Since it heats and cools more slowly due to the fact that the area under the handguard is heavier and the taper toward the muzzle is slight. This heavier 46.2 oz barrel was meant to cater to the shooter who needs a less dramatic effect from a thinner lighter profile which can lose accuracy after heating up to a certain point.
